PARENT RESOURCES FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Thank you for being our partner in helping your student set academic goals and work toward achieving mastery of the Nevada Academic Content Standards.

Here are suggestions for you to do at home that will help support our efforts at school:

• Ensure your student attends school daily – refrain from taking student out of school early and try to schedule vacations with the school calendar in mind.
• Ensure homework is completed with thought.
• Check to see that student has turned in all work – check Infinite Campus often.
• Remind student to charge Chromebook and bring it to school daily.
• Make sure student is prepared with school supplies and brings them to school.
• Contact counselor to make an appointment for a parent-teacher conference if you have concerns regarding your student’s academic progress.
• Check the Del Webb Middle School website for school updates and important information.
• Email teachers if you have questions about your student’s grades or progress.
• Create a designated place and time for student to complete daily homework.
• Encourage student to seek individual help from teacher before/after school when needed.
