Mrs. Bettis loves teaching seventh grade math at Del Webb Middle School. Mrs. Bettis was raised in Henderson, Nevada, and she graduated from Green Valley High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at UNLV and her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Bettis has been teaching since 2002. In 2006, Mrs. Bettis received the Southeast Region Distinguished Educator’s Award and in 2007, the Clark County Education Association’s Star Educator Award. Mrs. Bettis loves traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Bettis’ passion for teaching and love of math are apparent each day. Using innovative and diverse techniques, she will teach the students how math skills are essential for daily life. Mrs. Bettis hopes to inspire each student to work to his/her full potential.
