REGISTRATION


  • Registration hours are from 8AM-2PM on regularly scheduled school days.
  • No new registrations will be accepted after 2 PM each day.


  • Students registered before 12 PM may be able to start school the next day; students registered after 12 PM will not be able to start the next day.


  • Please note that this is subject to change based on registrar and counselor availability. 




IN-DISTRICT TRANSFERS


Parent/Guardian ID: Personal identification of parent/guardian (driver's license, picture identification, etc.) bearing your name.



If your child is transferring from one Clark County school to another (within our district), you will need to provide the transfer papers from the school of withdrawal together with one proof of residential address to complete your child's registration. 


Transportation is provided to all students who live more than two (2) miles from their zoned school. For more information regarding transportation for your child, please call Transportation at (702) 799-8111.


STUDENTS NEW TO CCSD OR STUDENTS WHO ARE RETURNING AFTER HAVING LEFT CCSD

Please visit the Clark County School District Online Registration System to complete the online registration.


You will need the following items to complete your child’s registration.


1.Parent/Guardian ID: Personal identification of parent/guardian (driver's license, picture identification, etc.) bearing your name.


2. Proof of child's identity: An original birth certificate, a passport, or a certified birth card (issued by Clark County Health District or any other health district). COPIES will NOT be accepted.


3. Up-to-date medical information: Please include any information about any disabilities or special health problems such as seizures, asthma, heart problems, seizures, asthma and provide health care procedures or medication.


4. Up-to-date immunizations records: Please visit https://www.ccsd.net/ for requirements of dates of immunizations.

  • Four DPT vaccinations (but one more if last dose was given before 4th birthday)
  • Three polio does (but one more if last dose was given before 4th birthday)
  • Two MMR vaccinations (one dose must be given on or after the 1st birthday)
  • A child enrolling in 7th-12th grade is required to have the Bordetella Pertussis vaccine ("T-dap") and Meningococcal conjugate vaccines MCV04.
  • Two Hepatitis A shots (2nd dose must be given at least 6 months after the 1st dose)
  • Three Hepatitis B shots (must have a minimum of 4 months between 1st and 3rd dose)
  • Two chicken pox (Varicella) shot (must be given at 12 months of age or older; 2 doses required one month apart for children receiving first dose on or after age 13 years). Physician verification required if student has had the chicken pox disease.


5. Proof of address: One proof of address is required. A current utility bill (gas, power, or water) that has your SERVICE ADDRESS listed, a lease agreement, or a sales contract are considered acceptable forms of proof. (Please be advised that a telephone bill, cable bill, credit card bill, or driver's license are NOT acceptable forms of proof.)

  • Note: If you only have a sales contract for the purchase of a new home as proof of address, the school will enroll your child on the condition that one additional proof of address from the above list is submitted within 30 days.

6. Student withdrawal form: The transfer document that states the name and address of your childs’ last school,  the student's current classes and grades at the time of withdrawal. Providing the following information will help ensure that your child is enrolled promptly and placed in the appropriate classes:

  • Previous records regarding placement in a special program or any 504 documentation
  • Updated transcript
  • Any test data or a recent report card


WITHDRAWING YOUR CHILD FROM SCHOOL

  • Parent will need to come into the school to fill out the withdrawal form along with a photo ID. You will need to bring your child's Chromebook, charger and any school/library books your child has checked out. The withdrawal will happen immediately.
