Mrs. Yamada was born and raised in southern California. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from California State University, Fullerton, and her Master’s Degree in Education from National University. The first 10 years of teaching, Mrs. Yamada taught math and science in Los Angeles. After moving to Nevada, she taught six years at a private school in Henderson before coming to Del Webb. Mrs. Yamada loves teaching science and connecting what students are learning to the everyday world around them. Mrs. Yamada enjoys eating donuts, going to theme parks with her family, and taking walks with her dog, Mochi.
