Mr. Schenk graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Secondary Education Certification. He moved out to Nevada and worked for 4 years as Curator of Education at the Mirage Dolphin Habitat and 21 years at Shark Reef Aquarium as the Biologist Educator on the Education Team. Mr. Schenk’s favorite part of both jobs was teaching students and he looks forward to sharing his enthusiasm for science with all of his classes.

Mr. Schenk has two children. He loves to spend time with his dog at the park, playing sports with his kids, coaching flag football, and watching football – Go Steelers!
