The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an international student organization that consists of chapters in middle schools. To be considered for membership, applicants must reach the five standards which include leadershipcitizenshipcharacterservice, and scholarship. The National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who exemplify leadership and citizenship, as well as provide educational opportunities. For the scholarship standard, the student scholar must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5. Students may apply for membership in the spring.


Del Webb National Junior Honor Society is looking for new members for the 2026/27 school year. Any interested 6th or 7th grade student will need to attend the MANDATORY application meeting on Wednesday, February 25th after school at  2:15 pm in room 810.  Students eligible to apply will have attended Del Webb for at least one semester, have a 3.5 GPA or better, excellent citizenship, be willing to complete 15 service hours per quarter, and attend ALL once a month NJHS chapter meetings. You must download the application on the Del Webb website or get one from Ms. Meltzer in room 810.  No applications will be accepted after Wednesday, March 4th at 2:30pm.
