Mr. Tognoni was born in Reno, Nevada, and he grew up in Gillette, Wyoming.  After graduating from The University of Wyoming in 1990, Mr. Tognoni moved away from the snow and cold of Wyoming to Bullhead City, Arizona, to begin his career as an Educator, Coach, and Administrator.  Mr. Tognoni spent twelve years at Mohave High School in Bullhead City where he taught Weight Training, Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education.  He coached wrestling, football, baseball, softball and golf.  Mr. Tognoni spent his last four years at Mohave High School as the school's Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.  This will be Mr. Tognoni's twenty-first year in the Clark County School District, where he has taught two years of Elementary Physical Education, one year of Physical Education and Health at Summit View Youth Correctional Center and 18 years of Middle school Physical Education and Health at Del Webb Middle School.  Mr. Tognoni is proudly married to his wife of twenty four  years and credits her with being his biggest fan (except for maybe their five dogs, one ferret, one bunny, one goldfish, one swimming frog, a desert tortoise  and a swimming turtle. LOL) and best friend.  In 2011 the Tognonis’ welcomed into the family their son Xander.  Mr Tognoni loves refereeing, hunting, fishing and playing golf .  Mr. Tognoni is a referee with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, various amateur sanctioning bodies and also officiates high school wrestling with The Southern Nevada Officials Association. Mr. Tognoni is excited to be back at Del Webb Middle School for another year and is looking forward to all of his new students.
