Originally from Northern California, Ms. Nicklin traded coastal views for desert sunsets when she moved to Las Vegas in 2005. She earned her degree in Criminal Justice but soon realized that teaching was where she could make the greatest impact. Since completing the Nevada Teachers of Tomorrow program in 2020, she has embraced the belief that life is a constant learning experience—and that the best lessons come from each other. Outside of school, Ms. Nicklin loves traveling, hunting down great new restaurants, and discovering places she’s never been.
