Alana Hallman was born and raised in Okemos, Michigan, and earned her Bachelor's of Science in Education from Michigan State University. In 2007, she got married and moved to Las Vegas, where she spent twelve years teaching 8th grade science at Del Webb Middle School. During this time, she earned a Master's of Technology in Education from Lesley University. In 2019, she left to teach 5th grade at Ellis Elementary for three years, before realizing how much she missed teaching middle school science! She came back to Del Webb to teach 6th grade science, and couldn't be happier to be "home!" In her free time, she loves to travel, do yoga, spend time with her husband, four children and pets.
