Mrs. Flick was born in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1971 with her family.  She earned a Bachelors of Science in Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and started teaching with the Clark County School District in 1985.  She continued her education by earning a Masters Degree in Education from Lesley College and has endorsements in TESL and Library Media Studies. She believes in creating a learning atmosphere in which every child feels valued, every child feels accepted, every child feels as though they can and will succeed, and a learning atmosphere in which students use their talents and gifts to become active participants in their life-long educational journey.  Mrs. Flick likes to spend time with her family, together they like to camp, travel and cook.
